Nicely done Brock. What the f*** were you doing.
He couldn’t get there and stopped to play the bounce which went toward the LF wall due to The English on the ball. Tough start— a bloop, a chopper and a seeing eye base hit, down 1-0 and no one out.

Eovaldi being generous today. Does this team have a leader in the clubhouse?

He's allowed a double that should'e been caught, an infield single, and a weak grounder that found a hole...

Are they gonna make the offense score runs?

Well they would at least keep us in games. This team needs someone to speak up on behalf of this s***** run they’re in now.

Porcello literally just made a comment last night about how s***** they're playing.

Mookie is mainly taking FB's which tells you something about his confidence in his ability to get around and get the barrel to the FB right now.

He doesn't know what is coming. He always take a curveball for strike 1, now pitcher pound a fastball instead. Scouting is amazing eh?

Lets just get the f*** out of Tampa. This team for whatever reason just dominates at they're dump of a home.

This team still has a brutal schedule in September. They better find that offense soon.

Mookie has swung at plenty of ist pitch FB's all season. He has been glad to get a FB in that situation and if he ends up fouling off a breaking pitch fine. Its only strike one if he fouls off a breaking pitch. He is not looking to swing at FB's right now and that is a problem. He is not even looking for a 1st pitch FB and that is not Mookie.

He was up 1-0 in the count and was STILL not looking for his favorite pitch, an inner half FB which he got and did not swing at.

Alex Speier recently had an article on Betts slump, first pitch swinging is down to 4% this month from 11-14% all other months.

Lately he is not even swinging at inner pitches, and getting rung up on them.

Mookie not swinging at that 1-0 inner half FB is even more telling than his not swinging at 0-0 pitches generally.

Yeah it's kinda shocking but nobody throws him inner half, it just catches him as a surprised when he gets one.

Lyons is just blind...just blind. What does he want viewers to believe...a strike has to be entirely in the strike zone?

1-0 what should he have been looking for? 1-0 what would he normally be looking for, a FB in the zone right and most specifically, according to the God of hitting Ted, a FB in your favorite quadrant of the zone.

He knows 80% of the pitches are away. Yet he pulls all of them.

No he doesn't. Look at his spray chart for God sake
