So the lesson here is good teams (all 5 of them including us) hit your mistakes a long way. Porcello was not terrible but the balls that left were on pitches that were pretty much middle pitches.

 

I don't know what Eck is talking about either. If you miss location with a Changeup and leave it out over the plate...its going someplace against a decent hitter. You can leave a Change up these days and get away with it, but not out over the plate.

Unless the batter is sure it will be a fastball. Sometimes it works in those cases.
