When Eovaldi pitched for the Yankees, Girardi rarely let him face the order a 3rd time, even when he was cruising I remember an outing where he gave up 1 hit and hat 10k's on 75 pitches after 5 innings and Girardi removed him without the slightest sign of trouble. This guy throws strikes, has excellent velocity, has at least 4 pitches (4 seamer, slider, cutter and splitter) and doesn't seem to get riled (no walks). Right now, he is doing a pitching job to be admired. Good pickup for the team.
