Sandy is catching a lotta' games. If they can stretch out a lead that allows for it, even expecting Vaz back they have to cut Sandy back down the stretch. He is going to turn into a pumpkin at this rate.

The HP ump is definitely looking for a fight. Not far enough ahead to give in to him with a very short bench. Leon is tired buys and girls

"Swihart has done absolutely nothing to justify his roster position."

Other than play C, 3B, outfield, & .....

So why did't NESN show us the Rosario called swing from the base line camera. Lately NESN is just getting under my skin.

6 innings on 68 pitches. Too good to be true on an every 5 day basis given his history but maybe a complete game would give the BP a needed day off, especially Kimbrel. But 3-0 isn't a guarantee with 9 outs to go in Fenway

Is Swi actually finally waking up? Idk?

Is he for real? I never thought so, but MAYBE he is actually waking up enough to show some promise?

Perhaps enough to build some decent trade value, or simply help this team keep winning?

IDK

I like Eddings little crow hop throw back to the pitcher. You can tell he is a frustrated ballplayer, therefore hating any real player questioning his calls

When Eovaldi pitched for the Yankees, Girardi rarely let him face the order a 3rd time, even when he was cruising I remember an outing where he gave up 1 hit and hat 10k's on 75 pitches after 5 innings and Girardi removed him without the slightest sign of trouble. I like that type of idiocy from Yankee mangers.

I remember when Ted Wiliams, who hated striking out more than he hated sports writers, threw his bat in the stands after K'ing. He hit a woman in the head. Of course, back in those days there weren't that many people in the seats to protect her.

I was going to ask if Cora was going to make a move, but realized how stupid that would sound to you all. If he does, he sets himself up big time. Let EO start the 8th and see what happens, with someone ready in the pen.

This guy throws strikes, has excellent velocity, has at least 4 pitches (4 seamer, slider, cutter and splitter) and doesn't seem to get riled (no walks). Right now, he is doing a pitching job to be admired. Good pickup for the team.

Would you throw him in the 8th?

Yes, open the inning and ride it until the first hit or walk at a minimum.
