I actually hate their ball field more than I hate them. However, if the season ended today, Kevin Cash would get my vote for manager of the year in the AL. I remember Cash being a well-liked player when he played for the SOX.

When you see that the Rays are actually a game over .500 in the year the Sox and NYY are set for 100+ wins, the Rays have done all they could which is the sign of a winner.

Maybe the Sox are just trying to get 5 in the books quickly, and perhaps the crew chief will declare the game over in the next rain delay , but our top 3 hitters are suffering right now.

Maybe the rest of the lineup too, except for Moreland's blast

Should smack this pitcher around. Gausman

For whatever reason, it seems like Gausman is either very good against the Sox or very bad. There is seldom a 6 inning 3 run type game for him against Boston. He either gets bombed or he throws a shutout.

Betts has actually had two well hit balls, but to the wrong part of the field. It's really a good thing when the SOX can win without always having to depend on the 1st 3 hitters.

In yesterdays game some blowhard opined that Benintendi only hit when we were way ahead and it didn't matter. Well, two outs and the bases loaded mattered and he came through with a 2 rbi ground rule double. So much for the bombast. Actually, Bradley did a nice job of drawing the walk for an rbi and then JDM singled for another giving Porcello some breathing room.

Betts looks a little off but we all know he will come through in many a key spot, maybe not tonight.

It's official so let's bring on the rain. Hopefully, the SOX can play the next two in Baltimore also. Wouldn't want to play those games later in the season when the O's may not be as bad as they are now. Edited by SPLENDIDSPLINTER

With the long rain delays I am now caught up to real-time on my DVR so you guys are stuck with me for the duration.

Side note....The mid 5th idiots make me want to blow my brains out
