The whole three days has turned into a circus. Not interested.....glad for the good teams to have the rest going down the stretch and that is about all I can say for it.

Yeah not a big fan of all star games no matter what sport. Just isn't for me.

I like the HR derby. Always loved the old black and white HR contests. Mano y mano.

The HR derby at all star break was getting stale with Bernmans “back back back” shtick and the insanely long turns. Now that it’s clocked it’s pretty good IMO.

I also enjoy the actual all star game. The worlds greatest baseball players sharing the field for 3 hours. If you don’t take it too seriously it can be enjoyable. Again IMO...

There was a time when there was palpable dislike between AL owners and NL owners and it filtered down to the players. I don't think we will see ASG's played that way again though the MLB all star game is the only one that even resembles the game it honors.

That was a funny kind of a awing for JD. He usually would have just gone with that pitch and dumped it into RF.

I have no idea what the Sox are trying to do with Colon. They are trying to force the issue with him which is the last thing you want to do. Its like trying to force the issue with CC. Good luck with that. Colon gives you pitches to hit if you just stay on them and go with them like Beni did. Beni went all the way to one knee but the hard part was getting down to the ball, not hitting it once you were there.

Haha that made me chuckle. Springer and Happ over guys like Snell and Benintendi? I think i'll take a break from baseball and catch up on some t.v. shows.

Colon is built like a semi.
On the radio, they said that he is listed at 5'11" 280 lbs. At those dimensions and age 45, it is remarkable what he is doing.
