I'm getting the game on the KC feed. The two guys in the booth aren't bad. Can't be easy announcing for a team this bad. They spend most of the time talking about the opposition.

I am willing to bet that when the depth of this mess that is now MLB is fully understood Manfred is going to take the bullet for it and he might deserve it. He has been with MLB before being its commissioner right. So he got to be around while this entire mess was developing. But even that said, it is only partially his fault. The dimwitted owners are likely to blame as much as anybody. But not a single one of them will probably stand up for Manfred. In fact they will likely tar and feather him.

Yeah, with Holt as the primary 2Bman. Devers may also be a bit weary of the grind as he doesn't have much experience and hasn't taken many days off.

Nunez, imo, is better defensively at 3rd than at 2nd.

How incredibly bad can Peralta be ? KC players must look around the clubhouse post game and ask who do I have to F to get out of here.

That is absolutely true. I don't think any of Cora' starters will end up battling excessive weariness by season end. Cora has done this grind as a young player, as an old player and we have all commented that he is if anything overly conscience of fatigue.

Jesus look at the size of that outfield. If the MFY's had to play here they would be crying in the beer. "This is just unfair. Its too big." Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

Wow that was a curve ball? Remy must have seen the grip. I have a hard time recognizing a pitch that only goes 5 feet.

Well, Kimbrel had a nice 3 day vacay stay in KC . He should be ready to go again

Of course now Kimbrel comes on, which is ok as he only needs two outs. Thornburg still needs some time to get his arm up to speed and strength , if he's going to help the bullpen. Otherwise he will be taking a undeserved rest.

Why the heck does Kimbrel throw the curve to a guy he has down 2 strikes. Throw it earlier in the count and go with gas at 2 strikes.

Well, Craig is coachable

Two road series sweeps , despite the low level opposition, is a great outcome and wastes another NY win. NYY have their plate full this week but the Baltimore Buttercups led by Buck Showoff will challenge them just not much. Now that the losses columns are identical, NYY needs to win all 4 games in hand in the W column to match the RS record. It gets tougher with 7 games in a 6 day period, because Sonny Boy will need to pitch one of them

They will play the lousy orioles in Baltimore. Does that team ever try to win games? We get a rangers team that’s not all that bad at home.
