I wonder if the SOX organization will have Devers playing winter ball after this season is over? I think they should.

 

Funny you mentioned that. The Sox Front Office called me earlier today. Asked me to hit grounders all day and everyday to Devers during the off season. Said they'd pay me 100 thousand to do so. I told them I wouldn't do it unless they can pay 200 thousand. They hung up on me.

You have to hate baseball to not acknowledge we are getting to witness one of the greats maybe ever in Trout .Love the player Amazing .

Leon is up to .260 average. He's having a very underrated season.

 

Sandy has been terrific and worth every penny .I dogged him and his slow start but the man has stepped up and won that job .

That's not how it works.

 

That would be neat, though, wouldn't it? Every run above what you needed to win could be banked, and you could add them onto a future game and win even if you don't score? To keep teams from just adding back and forth at the end until one team runs out of runs, you could only add them to your score before the game, so when you're playing another team's ace pitcher or you're starting your number 5 guy, you could start off ahead 6-0 or something.

Hembree gets the win. He deserved it.

 

Very glad David Price got pulled by Cora just short of the win qual. He deserved that, give the win to Hembree who is an amazing 4-1 so far.

On a 16 hit, 15 run night who was the only Red Sox not to get a hit, had 2 k"s but one rbi----? Went 0-6 , fell below .200 again

So Vazquez is out on the DL for a few weeks with a broken finger from sliding in the 7th inning? Looks like Swihart got a new lease on life at least to 7/31 He won't be traded now, so looks like we'll be shopping Price and his fat ass contract ,
