I am absolutely fine with Holt. Swihart needs to be so gone its not even funny. Does he not either see on video or feel how much top hand is in that LH swing now?

 

I don't know what to do with JBJ. He is getting hit by pitches so much because everybody and everybody's wife and Brother-in-law knows that he simply cannot get to pitches on the inner half. Heck he often won't even swing at perfect pitches for LH hitters.

 

Devers is making progress. He is just sooooooo young and that is not his fault.

Swihart has a .392 OPS. 10 players in the MLB have a higher OBP alone...

 

I hate when people go off on someone based on one AB, 1 game, 1 week or even one month or two, but as Natick would say, I'M DONE WITH SWIHART!

I think if our pitching stays consistent we only need 3 or 4 runs to win a game even in the playoffs. We don’t need a dynamic powerhouse offense to win. Our starting rotation is more than capable of putting this team on their back and winning games. However as of late we are struggling to even put up 2 runs so that’s a different story.

Thought that was the case. Mitch did not look like he was humping it out of the batters box and once it was off the wall he had to decide if he should try it with JD hitting behind him. Don't know where Mitch's head is today. Its not in this game.
