He got started up here in Maine many years ago. To be fair I haven't heard him (much) in some time. The thing he became famous for locally was his name-dropping. "I was talking with 'Xxx Xxxxx' last night and he said..... "

He's very annoying and does love doing that stuff... tonight he actually has been fine though, he's mainly just expressing his man crushes for Mookie, Machado and JD Martinez. lol

At the game mojo. Got to my seats for Beny’s AB.

JD is one strong hitter. I’ve seen him hit 3 HRS in 4 games @ Fenway— 1 to RF, 1 th LF and tonight to CF. All no-doubters.

I'd like to lock JDM and JBJ together in a room and make them stay there until JBJ 'gets it'.

JD Martinez and Mookie Betts are tied for MLB lead in homers (13) are 1 and 2 in batting average (Mookie is .358, JD .348), JD Martinez is tied for league lead in RBI (38), Mookie leads league in runs scored (45). These two guys are having unbelievable seasons right now.

I'm envious. I've got the itch to get to Fenway recently. Gotta do something about that!

I have to admit it.. I didn't know how good JD Maratinez is until I saw him play this year.

I was surprised in the off season by how many people were kinda "meh" on him. If anyone saw him play at all in Arizona or Detroit it is clear this guy is a tremendous player. His power to all fields is impressive.

Leon and Bradley are also an impressive duo in the 8 and 9 spots...in a different way. I guess Holt felt he had to swing at ball four given who was on deck.

That reminds me...at least we have Eck back for this series.

That's a +. If we can't have Jerry.

I feel like leon is a better option than Vazquez. both suck ass at hitting but leon seems to have guys throwing better to him, is better defensively and I think this guys baseball iq is infinitely better than Vazquez. like I think Vazquez might be legally retarded.

obviously I don't want either catching but leon > Vazquez

I kinda feel this way too. Vazquez has been unbelievably horrible this year, he's literally been one of worst catchers in baseball.

Outfield D is on LOCKDOWN.

Win.

Boy, did you call that right. Just two innings so far, but you can really see the difference with JBJ. Oh, he hasn't actually caught anything yet, but that's not important. What we are seeing is the enormous confidence with which Price is pitching, know that JBJ is backing him up. Same goes for the Orioles, they are terrified of hitting anything to the outfield knowing our outfield is in lockdown. And that K by JBJ on four fast balls right down the middle by Gausman. JBJ is toying with him.

See now I saw hardly anything that indicated JBJ was trying to go oppo in that AB and you are not going to cure what really ails him now that the season has started. Getting him to go oppo is just about the only thing you can do quickly and see if that gets him to quiet his head. I would not have put him back in the lineup just so he can prove how damned stubborn he is.

Maybe we will see something in the next AB.

If you keep this up I'm going to reserve the right to be a douche toward you when JBJ catches fire. And he will.
