The frustrating thing about Pom is that he has a changeup, but doesn't use it much even though he faces a whole lot of righty bats. Let's see if Velazquez can bail him out. Officially he needed to 100 pitches to get 12 outs (none in the 5th) and gave up 2 runs.

20-20 hindsight. Pom had used a lot of pitches, but had thrown 4 shutout innings and you basically didn't want him to come out for the 5th.

At the end of the 4th inning I said to myself "Will Cora bring Pom back out for the 5th with 86 pitches and no clean innings?"

When you hit like a 3rd grader never even looking at the ball ....all guess work with JBJ .Between he and Vaz we have to move on .The fact is this is not a slump for either one it's a lack of talent with the hit tool orrr they refuse to adjust ??? Either way they are terrible

Remy just said it using JD as the example. But you could use just about any hitter of reasonable quality...a 275 BA, 775 OPS guy will not be as completely blind to the baseball the way JBJ is now.
