He was looking at his hand when he left the mound.
Price had a strange sensation in his hand. They say that it was precautionary. He'll probably have thoracic outlet syndrome.

Still looked like intentional spiking to me.

If they are not going to call that, don't call any of them which is what I have wanted all along. Go back to the old rules and stop dicking around. Haa''''Justice

I have a feeling Austin is gonna get one in the ribs

Dirty play. Gonna tell Austin some advice, wear a catcher gear in his next AB.

Exactly. I think someone is going to get drilled for that Bush league play. And rightfully so.

Trying to be a neutral baseball fan here. But yea. He deserves hit.

This guy poyner sucks

Look, congrats to him on making the roster out of spring training. There was little competition in our dipshit turd of a bullpen.

It's not about being neutral. It's about reality. If I was pitching and someone took out my 2b (or tried to), they would get it. My control wasn't the best, though, so when I tried to hit a guy in the ribs, I'd hit head or ankles and everyone in between. Heck, one time I threw a strike. Then spent the rest of the day trying to hit people so I could throw a strike. Ended up plunking 5

Devers should have take out Tanaka as payback.

That's funny, I was just thinking how he could have landed on his ankle, by mistake.

I wonder if he has an ulnar nerve issue. Carpal tunnel is an option too, but not something we see in baseball all that much. Ulnar nerve irritation is common enough with pitchers that sometimes they need a transposition to free up the nerve. He is very much a question mark going forward

Actually I hate that garbage rule around the bases. They have taken an exciting baseball play and turned it into watching paint dry or a rule infraction that they don't want to enforce unless the fielder gets cut in half. JUST STOP already. Go back to the old rule.

Worse, you could cut the fielder in half on a legal play.
