I'd rather see JBJ in CF Swihart in RF and Benny in LF at this point ...JBJ Suuuuuuuuuucks

 

I don't think that would solve the problem of JBJ sucking.

Not to protect picking him as one guy I think will pan out but JD is working over from the other league. We have never pitched in this league the way they pitch in the other league. It will take some time IMO for him to adjust. but I really do believe this guy can hit.

Other league? He played for Tigers half the year last year and the previous 3 seasons.

Yeah. For two games. Then he will continue to suck. He has no clue at the plate.

And he'll play gold glove caliber defense, flash power, and still be a positive impact to the team. He was all star and 5 WAR player two years ago and 3 WAR player last year. He does this every year, starts slow, picks it up, struggles again, picks it up. He's a streaky hitter, every year we have people calling for him to be benched, traded, etc.

JBJ is no better than Pokey the amazing Reese ....amazing glove no bat ...late inning D replacement .

No, he'll get white hot for a month, lukewarm in a different month and be awful the other 4.

 

But seriously, he needs to put it together soon. He had at least parts of 6 years in the majors now, and it's the same thing over and over.

Yeah, you are right, he didn't have an .800 OPS in May and OPS over 1000 last June or a 30 game hit streak a few years ago. He just sucks, and occasionally gets lucky and blindly gets a hit. Brock Holt and Swihart should be out ther
