John Valentin analysis, basically: “The pitcher threw the baseball, the batter hit the ball, the ball went in the air and the batter ran.”

Missed a lot, but replays show some pretty alert defense by the Sox to get hyperaggressive A's runners. I know, I know--only our guys are actually boneheads. Other teams are pretty solid on the fundamentals because they are better coached and managed.

Despite popular belief, I think Oakland has the most errors in the league.

Yup, because they are a pretty s***** baseball team.

Did JBJ really, truly strike out with men on 2d and 3d and no one out? Seriously? Note that elder statesman--the over the hill guy--quickly hit a sac fly to get one guy home. JBJ batting 9th is right where he needs to be even though has definite hitting potential (and some pretty good numbers form 2016).

Yup, he's a number 9 hitter all day. Not sure why people think they need to sign him for $20M per year.

Do you think he’d get $20M per year on the market? I just don’t know why someone would pay that much for him. Betts I would pay that much. But JBJ, no.

Tests already? That sucks Thunder.

Hope you kick ass on it.

I misjudged the type of test it is. It's not in class, it's for homework, and it's due on a Sunday morning (9/24) at 9 AM, so basically, when no college kids are awake, although we just got word that there's now a UConn football game that day, so maybe I will be awake, since I'm going to the game. It's all open note/book/computer, so that makes it next to impossible.

He turned down a 5 yr $100M extension I think.
