I have had a headache all day long, and now I realize that this is the same type of headache that I had during September 2011 as the Red Sox circled the drain. I used that term about them "circling the drain" at the beginning of that month. That stress headache lasted for the entire month and miraculously was gone after we got eliminated on the final day. I guess I will have to get used to this headache.

Put him over at 1b. Dh Moreland and HR. Matter of fact tell HR not to come to the park until he gets a hair cut. How the hell can you play ball looking lie that. The one thing and only thing I like about the Yankees is the dress code.

I hear ya. But that translates to about 1 error every 5 games and that's a risk I'm willing to take to get just a little bit of life back into this offense. And you know that's saying a lot if you've paid attention to my posts and know how much I value stellar defense!

 

Could not agree more about getting life back into the offense, but the available evidence is that Devers hitting--which has undeniable and houmoungous potential--has gone steadily down hill. I believe (I don't often listen to them) the commentators have said that opposing pitchers have him figured out and he has not in turn made his own adjustment. Heck, he's only 20.

Why do they keep replaying a HanRAm dinger when a single would do almost as much good? I don't want him swinging for the fences.
