Big Dick Rick and his massive dick will be taking on a guy by the name of Parker Bidwell. He sounds like the name of a douchy kid in a 1990s sitcom, I bet he would date Stephanie Tanner.

1st game thread of the season for me. Lets win this for my favorite pitcher! (David, Chris, Eduardo just don't rhyme with a word like dick, and Drew and Jew just doesn't seem ethical as a nickname)

Need a solid game from Porcello today. Offense is way too inconsistent to trust. Won't be able to watch the game unfortunately.

That theory works best if the pitcher is not throwing strikes. Going into this inning Bridwell had thrown 29 srikes and 12 balls. I know we all get upset when seemingly every batter stands there and takes get me over fastballs for strike one constantly. I can't see the game, so I don't know if Bridwell is throwing hittable pitches on strike one and the Sox aren't hitting them or if they are going after pitcher's pitches.

 

I do remember Bridwell doing pretty well against the Sox at Fenway earlier this year.

Very nice shut down inning by Porcello after the Sox tie the game. He's been good today

 

Yes he is certainly looking good his last few starts. Let's hope the offense can't help him out.

Porcello simply can't hold the lead. He's a HR-prone pitcher.

 

Its not like he's been given much room for error. Offense has been trash again.

Yup, when Porcello pitches we need at very least 4-5 runs.

Porcello could potentially get back to back complete game losses allowing 3 or less runs... Awesome job offense

 

Isn't it 3 consecutive? I think he threw one against the Rays too.

Its two of his last three. I for some reason was thinking of the Yankees and Rays starts out of order. In the Yankees game he only went 6 (1 earned run).
