Ill be the first to admit that I've done by fair share of bithcing about Moreland's defense but he has started to consistently make the hard/difficult plays that good defensive players make. He doesn't "flash" his glove like many others that win gold gloves but he is steady at making the difficult play.

He's definitely been really good lately, which I'm glad as he struggled defensively to start the season for whatever reason.

This one wasn't as bad as a lot of his adventures this year. Ball towards the corner and you force the outfielder to make a good throw, which Upton did. Got to read the throw though. Slide to the third base side or the old hook slide to that side and he's safe.

I'm assuming most of use hate how ESPN is shoving female announcers/analysts down our throat. But Menendez is fairly good. She knows what she is talking about and she doesn't force herself to talk when what she is saying has no substance.

I don't care about announcer gender. I care about a quality broadcast. I think all three of the people in the booth are a wonder bread and white american cheese sandwich. Pretty boring.

I never wanted him traded, and neither did Moon, S5Dewey, Slasher, Flap Jack and a few others. I love JBJ, have always been patient with him and want him here for life. He's one of my favorite players and I'm a huge JBJ homer.

I agree, I don't care either. But ESPN seems to find the most boring and unknowledgable female commentators. They move them to the front based upon their gender. If they were male they wouldn't be in the position they are in. My point was Mendoza does not fall into this category. If ESPN could find more commentators like her they wouldn't have the complaining from their viewers like they do.
