Of the bottom 5 from last night's lineup only Rutledge remains--HanRam for Moreland, Bradley for Young, Vazquez for Leon, and of course Kendrick for Pomeranz.

Hitting seems to be coming back, but Pomeranz and Kendrick can fix that easily enough.

I'm all for the 'If it ain't broke' philosophy, but I thought it was a mistake having Leon catch Pomeranz last night, since Vazquez has caught all of his other starts.

I'm getting old I think. I almost don't care about spring training, as what happens there and who is doing well means pretty much nothing.

 

As long as a team hasn't tanked half way through a season, they are still in it.

 

Baseball is strange........ you could pretty much start watching at the all star break and have as much of an idea of who is going to the playoffs as anyone that has watched the whole season. And guess what........ without half the heartache. But, without half the fun too........
