Have there been any murmurings orstories about juiced baseballs. I love Benintendi's bat, but he hit a 438 foot bomb the other day. That is Ortiz distance. Hanley has hit a couple over 440 -- one went 459. Players all around baseball are hitting mammoth shots. Stanton always hit big bombs, but he hit a ball at Citifield on Sunday that hit the window of the restaurant in the second deck in LF. That went 468. Thoughts.

Pom needs to climb the latter more if he is throwing flat fastballs.

You are cracking me up with your avatar.

It does seem like there's been a lot of long bombs this year. I think Bell mentioned something about a really weird bounce or something which made it seem obvious that the balls are juiced.

That's a perfect throw by Leon. Knee high in front of the bag. All Rutledge had to do was catch it and hold it there.

I remember the post about the unusually high bounce. Did Bells see that or did he read about it?

I think he saw it, but I'm not sure.

Nice. Get two strikes and walk the lead-off hitter on 8 pitches. That tells me all I need to know about Drool tonight.

Until he throw a meatball to the next guy up! Nice.

As if walking a lead-off hitter with 62 SB is not bad enough.

Pom Pom is a soft tosser. He is nowhere near as good as Buch when he was on his game. But he drives me just as nuts!

Good glove by Rutledge on the SB attempt and the ball to his left for the out.

Sox need to get some runs tonight. That is not too much to ask for off of Paralta or whoever this lump is.
