I don't remember Farrell serving up three taters in an inning yesterday, or going 2-7 with 5.00+ ERA in the playoffs.

For having the lazy attitude finishing the season. Something inside of me knew this team would flame out in the playoffs. How about f***ing winning a game.

Thanks Price. How many years of this garbage are we going to have to sit through?

But again this inning, infield hit on a ball Bogaerts could have made a play on and Holt booting an easy DP ball. Result is a cheap run.

Guardians are white hot, they are getting a few breaks and they are taken by advantage of them. Things are going for them the way they were for the Sox during that 11 game winning streak.

And my lack of faith is rewarded.

Not really. Holt had a perfect gidp grounder and dropped the ball, but got no error because he finally picked the ball up and tagged third before the baserunner.

That's pretty accurate even though there was nothing lucky about that dinger, which was just hammered. Also, today, unlike last night, the Sox have not hit well at all.

The manager's job is to get the team focused, but stay loose. The entire team looks tense. That's on the manager.

I'm thinking more of his work this season as a whole. Not what we're paying ace money for.

It bugs me that Holt--like many other major league infielders--never seems interesting in fielding a grounder with both hands.

Got it.

I am not too disappointed in the way the Sox are playing. I'm amazed they won the division. I figured they would struggle with a group of youngsters not having the experience of dealing with playoff pressure. The starting rotation is iffy at best and the manager is not the greatest. As I stated, I am amazed they won the division. We'll have to wait until next year.

The season rests on clay buchholz. I am sure he will pitch awhole lot better then this 200 million dollar pussycat

At this point wouldn't be hard to do better than what Price did

The offense this last two weeks starting the first 5 innings so slow is what makes me mad

Kluber's got a lot a late movement on his pitches today. Sox have a bead on it and it moves just off the sweet spot at the last split second. Let's face it, he's good.

You still gotta be dissapointed by the effort.

The homer was the dagger but the chop and the bloop set that whole inning up.

Does it surprise anyone how loose and confident the Guardians have looked from the get go? That's Always been Titos greatest strength. The sox look the polar opposite. Farrell has to find a way to calm our guys down and instill confidence. That's what he's paid for...

As for all the "it's tough team...", so are the Guardians...

Perhaps they need a different approach, and that is where the manager comes in.

What a crock. Two straight starters, Porcello and Price, have given these games away. Today, I entirely agree, the lineup looks tight, but that's largely due to Kluber's excellent pitching. Last night the Sox scored 4 runs, which should have won, but Porcello gave away 5, including 3 dingers. Price has always been bad in the postseason. Porcello was just bad.

I was wrong about one big thing. Price still loves his fastball--way too much. A lefty hitter and he throws one right down the middle. Both starters so far for the Sox have thrown fat fastballs and paid the price and mixed in way too few breaking balls. Who ever is calling the pitches is just dead wrong.

Not only is he calling a bad game, but they're stealing the signs! I would like to see Vasquez come Sunday, There's an old sonag, "we did it before and we can do it again" etc.

I don't thinks so. MAYBE we get one, maybe two, but Price and/or Porcell have to go again. Price is not going to find a change-curve between now and then.
