To me, this is one of the most exciting times in sports, especially off the field... even better than the NFL or NBA draft.

 

No doubt. Look's like the white sox won't budge. I wished we had looked at other options.

Word is the CWS will wait until the winter to deal Sale and/or Quintana, since there are no big SP'er FA's and teams may be more willing to part with top prospects once they realize nothing is out there.

 

I would like to know what package the sox offered in the end. There's alot of risk with sale as well because of his pitching mechanics.

In a surprising move, the Twins will acquire left-hander Hector Santiago from the Angels, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports (via Twitter). Right-hander Ricky Nolasco and former top prospect Alex Meyer are going to the Angels, Rosenthal adds in a second tweet.

I heard it was just 1Bman Chris Shaw, but now I'm hearing Matt Duffy and a low prospect.
