If we gave JBJ a year. The least we can do is give Castillo a month before we claim him unworthy of the contract.

Trying, but his AB and OF play is hard to overlook

Well, right now our offense is Godawful and he's more likely to hit then Jackie. He's also not Hanley bad in the outfield. So, it's manageable.

We can live with him out there, but this is not a plus defensive team as we were led to believe.

And really, with him in the outfield the overall defense is that much worse.

You'd rather Craig or Nava? Castillo is also learning RF as he's always played CF.

No. I'd prefer a good defensive player that could hit league average or better.

When were we ever lead to believe that? We were lead to believe the offense was going to be great. But, if you really thought adding panda and Hanley to our team was going to help, you're delusional.

I never believed it, but people were posting that before the season started. Bogaerts has improved since last year. That has been nice to see. On the other hand, Hanley has been atrocious -- much worse than I had expected. The rest are what I had expected. As a team they are about league average maybe a little below.

I guess I'm just not that down on Hanley. He is a third basemen, not an outfielder. He took one for the team and tried to play that position. So far, it hasn't looked good. But, Ben deserves the heat over that. He shouldn't have signed Panda. Hanley should have been your third baseman. There was no need to add to the already log jammed outfield.

I am with you on that. It was like he was improvising in the off season with no plan.

And Panda makes another error. His belly got in the way this time-- not his fault, definitely not Ben's fault.

Hey, Ted, tell me...what do you think of Sandoval's weight? I'm just curious, I can't really be sure of your opinion so I'd like to know
I hear that he looks quite slim in a suit. Maybe we should go for new uniforms.
