I tip my hat to anyone who watched that to the end.

Bogaerts was 4 for 4 plus a walk in the extra innings. How crazy is that?

This game was def worse for NYY than it was for us. We just won a 19 inning game, they just blew their entire bullpen on a defeat.

I'm concerned about the energy levels for the next few days. They'll be running on limited sleep today, so they will need to get full rest tonight to be ready for the Sunday Night game with the quick turnaround Monday for the home opener. Unfortunately, I'm leaving tomorrow for a week and will have limited internet access, if any, so these games are cut off for me.

W > L every time if nobody gets injured.

Steven Wright has lived for a game like this. Everyone fouled out and the equipment manager forgot his uniform.

What an ending! I turned it off in the 15th.

Steven Wright gave up two leads for the Red Sox. He bent, but never broke. 5 IP, 2ER is not bad, but we're depending heavily on Joe Kelly to give innings today.

Mookie Betts and Napoli both had golden sombreros. Losing playing time for the NL must have really hurt Nap's timing.

I'm just glad the Sox came away with the W. Can you imagine how crappy we would all feel if after all that, the Sox had lost?

It's always nice to win the first game of a series.

And I agree with Pal. Wright's outing would not have seemed that bad, had it not been for the fact that the game was deep into extra innings. It turned out to be a good thing that he was available in the pen and not starting tonight.

I watched the entire game as well as "30 Seconds Over Tokyo" on AMC.

I don't understand why everyone is down on Wright. He did his job. Although it was exasperating to watch. Would you all have preferred seeing Brock Holt pitch 5 innings?

I vaguely remember a game about 16 or so innings long that was won by a Petrocelli homer. I think that this game is the longest I have watched.

The play Bogarts made throwing the ball to Panda for the force was just outstanding. Good presence of mind and also a good play by Panda.

Miley looked okay until the 27 minute wait. Of course like Masterson, he had the benefit of a wide strike zone. It was hard to predict what that ump would call. Although pitches 6-8 inches outside were usually strikes.

One more time for good measure. f*** THE YANKEES.
