Lots of Webster hate for this one. Considering the guy has had a such good numbers in the minors, we should give him a few more chances, at least until better options emerge.

Notice the groaning started after they stake him with a 3 runs lead, Webster proceeded to walk the lead off batter. He did okay the rest of the way. But a guy with his stuff should be in charge when he is the on the mound. He needs some confidence boost. This was a start.

No one disputes Webster's stuff. His command needs improvement and his heart is in question. The are low pressure games, so they aren't the best measure. I hope that if he does well that they use him as a trade chip and get some value.

You love it when we beat the Angels----how do you think I feel living not to far from Angels Stadium with a wife, daughter, son-in-law and all the brothers, wives, parents and grandkids save one all Angels rooters. Shocked out of my shoes that with Webster going against their long time ace we would win. Now can we reverse what we did last weekend when he won the first game against the Yankees and then lost the next two. Can we win this series? We need a series win badly you know.
