This jackass can't be in the rotation next year, never mind the ace of the staff. If he is, we'll be just as bad as we are today.

We could not even give him away for free right now.

It seems like every year there is an idiot GM who doesn't understand how the waiver wire works and claims the wrong guy. Remember Vernon Wells? Maybe this year its Buchholz.

Gotta say - Cespedes doesn't have a great OBP but he works the count really well and has much better plate discipline than I anticipated. Kind of strange, his first few at bats has looked like he'd be a strong OBP guy.

I was looking at his numbers for his career -- He's averaged around 3.70 pitches per plate appearance over his MLB career, which is a bit below average.

Wonder if he works the count unless he sees a first pitch that is middle middle and just swings out of his shoes. A lot of the Sox players (Pedroia, Nava, etc) won't swing at a first pitch even if its dead middle, which can be frustrating.

I f***ing hate listening to Kruk utter a single word. He has such a Yankee boner it's ridiculous to have him broadcasting any game on which they play. Only hope is if he eats a couple of Fenway Franks during a commercial break and goes into a diabetic coma. f*** you Kruk!!!

This will change if he continues to play for us.
