If all of the rain drops were lemon drops and gum drops, oh what a rain it would be. I'd stand outside with my mouth open wide going ah-ah-ah-ah ah-ah-ah-ah-ah.

And there'd still be people saying climate change isn't real and Al Gore would say he warned us of this impending gum drop doom. Republicans would say to get rid of SNAP cards now that food is free. Democrats would think of a way to tax the amount of lemon drops eaten.

But I'd still be outside going ah-ah-ah-ah ah-ah-ah-ah-ah.

And the insulin for your lemon drop induced diabetes would be free.

Doubront has the nightcap?

Yes. And it was even explained for us that they were swapped because Peavy is less likely to tax the bullpen.

People were actually calling WEEI screaming they couldn't go to the game today and wouldn't get their PD bobblehead. Seriously?

Hey, I can see that. Bad enough missing the game. Losing the bobblehead only adds insult to injury.

That's what happens when you have a 2 year old.

The version my son knows is by Laura Doherty. He's not into Barney that much. He's a Bob the Builder/Zerby Derby/Cars/Daniel Tiger kid.

I hope VA's crush locks this game down. I don't think anyone has a lot of confidence in Doubs going up against Archer in the nightcap.

Was he out or not? I didn't see the play, I'm at work.

It was difficult to see if Pedroia touched home plate at all. Based on the fact that they called him out on field, I don't think they could reverse it and in my opinion he appeared to be out. Either way, stupid decision by the 3B coach to send him there with only one out.
