Tonight's Red Sox-Rays game has been postponed due to inclement weather and will be made up as the first game of a day-night doubleheader tomorrow beginning at 1:05 p.m. Tickets for tonight’s game will be good for tomorrow's 1:05 p.m. game, with Dustin Pedroia bobbleheads given away to all fans in attendance. Tomorrow’s regularly scheduled game remains at 7:10 p.m.

 

Red Sox manager John Farrell said he did not think they would be able to get the game in when he spoke to WEEI's Dale & Holley earlier this afternoon. The forecast is not promising according to the National Weather Service:

 

Rain. Patchy fog after 9pm. Temperature rising to around 49 by 5am. East wind around 13 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
