Sunday night was more like it.

Homahs and walk offs. That's what Boston does. Homahs. And. Walk offs.

Lackey vs Verlander.

Game Time:

. (but seriously, 4:07).

It's simple. Win tonight. That's all. Just win.

They need to follow the same approach that they used all season long. Get the starter out of the game and feast on the bullpen. IMON the Tiger pen is ready to implode.

Why? Are you expecting Lackey to get bombed?

Verlander works quickly.

We are going to work his PC and score some runs.

If Benoit is pronounced like benwah then are we supposed to say Detroit like detwaah?

Ortiz had 2 homers off Price who he never homered off of, and one against Benoit who he never homered off. Watch out for guys he has faced but not homered off, seriously.

"The city's name originates from the Detroit River (French: le détroit du lac Érié, meaning the strait of Lake ..."

So you'd pronouce it like Day-trwah if you were eating poutine.

I have a feeling Lackey is going to have a great game today. 8 innings, 2 runs, 5 k's. Sox win 4-2.

Hope you're right. But just in case, around the 5th inning the words 'short leash' will hopefully be somewhere in Farrell's thoughts.

Personally I think you Americans handle the French language the correct way - you generally ignore it.

Detwaah?

More like De-twat.

We hadn't have any lineups in game 2, why post them now?

Reminds me of Bosox21. Whatever happened to that guy?

Wherever you are, come back.

I still vividly remember Nava taking Verlander's 100 mph fastball and line it to left field to win the game.

Yup. 3-1 pitch, Nava swings thru it at 99. JV comes back with the exact same pitch at 100 and Danny ropes it to left for a 3R 2B.
