This is it, boys and girls. I have been saving mojo for well over a month so i could use it in a moment of true need. Tonight we hammer Hellickson into oblivion while Peavy helps take us one step closer to the promised land.

WIN!

Big win needed here. Sox can't afford to go back to Boston. They need Lester to pitch game 1 on Saturday.

Why the hell is the game starting almost at 9PM? WTF

Seriously, this is absurd.

The Tigers/A's should have had the nightcap, not only because they're in the Central Time Zone (which would have them starting at 7:30 central time), but the majority of their fan base is in central and western time zone, so that's still a very decent time for the game to start.

Both of these teams are from the east coast, which means their fans are on the east coast.

I'm either going to be half assing it at work tomorrow, or going to have to cut out during like the 5th inning.

It's ridiculous.

Yeah, this late ass start time is ridiculous. Game probably wont end till after midnight with a good chance of ending around 1. I'm so tired after a long day I might have to take a nap before game... Thank God I dont have class or work tomorrow.

This game time really does suck! I can barely make it to the end of a 7pm games. I have to get up at 5:30am. DAMMIT!

The TBS announcers we got stuck with really suck bad. I like John Smoltz but the other two are aholes and seem to be pulling for the Rays. f*** them!

Watching the A's v Tigers now. They are so lucky to have Orsillo, Eck and Buck.

Really, WTF?

If we have the same announcers as last night, game is being muted and ill listen to music, I cannot stand those dudes.

Get your preferred music ready. They'll be the same.

Great, I wish I could just listen to NESN instead of this s***. I know it shouldn't be that big of a deal, but these announcers really annoyed me last night.

It's a big deal to me too. We're pretty spoiled with our NESN guys. I used to have XM Satellite radio in my home and could sync the Red Sox radio broadcast to the game on tv. It was great.

It was so bad last night that I did mute the tv and listen to music near the end of the game.

Yeah, we are definitely spoiled. I hate when Sox play Orioles (can only get orioles announcers), play on Fox and I really hate these TBS announcers... I actually don't mind ESPN though.

Despite my previous statements, the protests of my heart, and my better judgement, I'll be settling in to watch this one tonight. f*** me if I'm going to be able to pull myself away at this point.

This is why we made the Peavy trade. This game tonight. Too many people are acting as though we're the ones with our backs to the wall because of last night. That sucked but I think people are forgetting that we have the lead in the series and we're the ones who have Jake f***ing Peavy on the mound.

Win this game and move us one step closer to the promised land.

Same here with MASN...ugh! I have MLB Extra Innings through Verizon. They've gotten better about giving you the choice of the home or away broadcasts but most time when the Sox are away I get the away teams broadcast. Excruciating when we play the White Sox, Blue Jays and Rays. Hopefully it'll get better next regular season.

Obviously in the post season we're screwed like everyone else but hey, at least WE ARE IN THE POST SEASON! That's the only way I can look at it. Try to find the positives....:)

TBS guys are shaky. Although a lot better than it was when Chip Caray was the lead. Ron Darling and Cal Ripken are excellent but the rest not so much. Studio guys are good, although it would be better if they focused on Verducci and Pedro.

NESN guys spoiled us, and that has even been a dropoff from the Sean and Jerry days of a decade ago. I loved Ned Martin too - although everybody loves their hometown guys. Sean's staying power in the industry across the various sports show what a pro he really was - and he hated the umpires.

Not true. I spent a significant amount of time in Chicago the past three years, and you'd be surprised how many people wish a slow, painful death on Hawk. A lot of Yankee fans i know are also not very fond of their hometown duo. "C YAAAAA, AN A-BOMB FOR A-RODDDDDDD" gets tired quickly.

True. Hawk is an embarrassment. As are the NYY radio announcers Sterling and Waldman. Dan Patrick cracks on those two all the time!
