Rodriguez filed a lawsuit Friday morning in New York State Supreme court that alleges baseball and its commissioner, Bud Selig, have had one goal in mind: "to improperly marshal evidence that they hope to use to destroy the reputation and career of Alex Rodriguez.''

ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME??!!!!! Is this jackhole just surrounded by yes men that think he walks on water??!! HE IS GUILTY!! He has already admitted to taking steroids in the past. What the hell am I missing here. I understand that MLB is trying to make an example out of him, BUT HE IS GUILTY AS HELL!!

When I read an article on this for the first time today, I thought the suit was saying A-Rod was the savior of baseball. That was completely believable to me, even though they were actually accusing Selig of thinking that about himself.

The more I read about this and think about this the more I realize - duh - that the obvious best case scenario for Sox fans is that A-Rod avoid the suspension and continue to be on the Yankees payroll and roster, a financial albatross and monstrous embarrassment to the team.

MLB didn't ask Clark to state as a "fact" that Pujols took PEDs, without a shred of evidence. That one seems pretty clearcut.
