I don't like the current Don/Bradford discussion at all although it does seem to be the case. Drew has really done very little all year. Middlebrooks was always going to need to establish himself as a ML hitter. The Sox decided to bring WMB up. Nobody was twisting their arms unless you want to consider Youk as the guy twisting their arms.

 

So now Middlebrooks who needs work and AB's gets injured and has to share time with Iggy who also needs work and AB's so that Drew can stay in the lineup. That is a money decision if I ever saw one.

Jon has hit 94 tonight but it looks like Jon himself thinks he has to muscle up to hit 94. If he could do that regularly, he might challenge hitters more. I am not sure if he can but more importantly, it looks like he does not think he can.
