Lackey vs Ogando

+124 at topbet.eu

Not a good spot for Lackey, IMO. If I'm laying any cash, I'm probably taking Texas, but my fandom will probably make me take the Red Sox at 7:59 PM.

Here is the list of the opponents Ogando has faced so far this year:

@Minn

@LAA

@ChC

@Sea

vs Tampa

@Hou

Those are some of the worst offenses and best parks to pitch against in baseball. Ogando has a rude awakening coming today.

Lackey will come through with another solid effort. Last night the Sox were out pitched by very much. That will not happen today. 8-5 Sox. User is correct.

The park in Arlington has that wind current going out to right. With the short porch, lot of HR's, especially on hot nights. Big night for Ortiz, Nava and Carp if they play, and Salty.

In 12 1/3 innings against Boston (1 start) Ogando is 1-2 with a 5.11 ERA. (Although only a .97 WHIP and .178 BAA)

That said, in 195 2/3 innings against Texas (36 starts) Lackey is 12-14 with a 6.16 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and .295 BAA

Kinsler and Murphy have hit him well, but that's it really on the squad now.

Nap had a 1.056 OPS against him, and Hamilton destroyed him to a 444/515/926 line.

I think Lackey throws well tonight. 6 IP, 2 ER or 7 IP, 3 ER would be my guess.

Sporting the Sox gear in St Lucia tonight. Sitting on our patio in our room, sipping on a Piton beer, and finally enjoying life after busy season.

If anyone ever goes to St Lucia, check out Ladera Resort. Guarantee you that you will not be disappointed.

Sounds awesome! Enjoy! :thumbsup:

I think Lackey will go out there with the confidence of having had a good start last time out. Lackey is if nothing else a warrior that hardly needs more juice when he heads to the mound. Looking forward to seeing how he does tonight and looking forward to the showdown tomorrow.

Well I did not see it but we must have gone down pretty easy in the top of the 1st. Kinsler sends the first thing he sees into the stands. Yuk

Good job Ells...actually it looks to me like both Ells and Vic are just trying to make sure they get on base anyway they can. Not really trying to stroke the ball for power.

I don't know how many folks saw last night's game...did anybody see that $26.00 cheese burger?
