I'm gathering it was a 5.09 ERA in his 69 innings in the AL. His ERA was 2.25 in the 104 innings in the NL, which if you combine them might make a 4.49 ERA for the year.

I'm pretty the 4.49 came from mixing his interleague numbers with the stats from the rangers.

If I remember correctly his first 2 starts with texas were horrific, after that most of his starts were quality starts.

Hmmm, I didn't think of that. Good call, however that would largely effect his career ERA numbers in a way I'm too lazy to find. Haha.

Shoot I did not know Pedey had already screwed the thumb again. It is starting to sound like that thumb is going to be a problem the rest of his career.

It was his first and his third start where he gave up 8 ER a piece. Most of the rest were good/decent, but he had a few stinkers late. 3 of his last 4 starts were "meh" or worse.

And to BorntoRun's point, he had 15 scoreless interleague innings against the AL, 7 against us and 8 against Minnesota and a 6 inning 4 ER effort against the Chisox.

Very stupid to dive in 1b. The team was up like 6

Ugh. Not that I really watched Dempster a hole lot before but he just doesn't look comfortable out there right now. Hopefully it's just a matter of working out the kinks and the Yanks hungry for a win.

I know Dempster is not up middle but up is still up. That is why the Yanks are getting bitch hits off of him. Up is still up and up is not good.

I have to say I know it's only the first series of the season, but I honestly expected at least good solid contact from Napoli. I'm anticipating a good season from him this year, and as of right now, he seems like he isn't picking up the ball at all, as he's been whiffing at air in almost every AB so far.
