Lester and Beckett have been pretty close in results this year, I just expected more out of Lester. It seems that Beckett either has a terrific season (2007, 2011) or he's nothing special (all of the other years). I expected this to be the latter.

He has done the job offensively this year. But his defensive range is terrible nowadays. Cabrera, Andrus, and Escobar are all better offensively too. He should not be an all star this year.
