Longevity certainly factors into the equation. A guy hitting over .300 with a good OBP at age 37 or 38 while manning SS is pretty damn good. We have to stop making the Jeter sucks arguments. Lillibitch is quite the find. Getting him reminds me of those situations where in Fantasy sports when an owner tries to trade you a guy the day before he has to cut him. The guy sucks balls. When our OF'ers start coming back, he should be the first one cut. Don't tell me he can play IF, because he can't. If there is one thing he does worse than hit, it is playing middle infield. Punto is a much better middle infielder.
