Buster Olney reported pre-game that BobbyV told him that Ellsbury is very close. Crawford also looks to be heading out on a rehab stint any day now. Cody Ross is due back on Tuesday.

 

If the Sox could go ahead and just give us a little run here. Maybe a 9-4, 10-3 run over the next 2 weeks and put this team 5-7 games over .500 when Ells and Crawford return, they'll be in good, good shape.

As I recall, he has been pitching well lately in multiple inning outings. Haven't checked the stats. Still, pitching this well is eye opening.

Hes been good of late, but tonight really opened my eyes.....and I dont get too excited about much.

 

He was a different pitcher out there tonight. He looked like he belonged out there....he was in total command. If he develops that changeup......I had visions of Johan Santana circa Twins.
