I wouldn't mind him missing that game and resting instead. Not that he doesn't deserve it, but rest is important too.

As a DH how much rest does he really need?

 

When it comes to other sports that I follow I don't want the better players playing for other teams, ie, playing for their country etc in football (soccer). By my rationale, this would apply to pitchers especially in baseball.

Still think the pitching needs addressing though. The firepower in the batting line up is there. Just not sure the pitching can do it consistantly.

I could see getting a quality SP and trading Matsusaka, if we can. Or DFA him. He is gone after this year anyway. I think we have the trading pieces to get a quality SP.

Yeah I agree. The only reason I even knew was bc I was having to keep up on the MLB app on my phone while I was at dinner, so it constantly had the box score up.
