What does that say about US?

I know that I have no life, but all of you too?

I'm multi-tasking...following the game, getting some work done, and, occasionally, acknowledging other family members.

Wow this team absolutely cannot hit right now.

Maybe it's because Valentine continues to put Youkilis in the lineup.

I suspect he is being told to do that.

1-7 in last 8 will do that

Yeah, this is the time of year where a lot of us just get depressed by the Celtics and Bruins losing, and don't really want to get deep into a Red Sox slump. I think its time for them to rattle off ten wins in a row.

I'll wait til the Cafardo piece says that. Though Theo and Tito always had ongoing conversations about the lineup. Don't know who has the final say.

Plus the horrible SB ending still stings.

Youkilis is hitting .138 in the month of June, and plays everyday

Middlebrooks is hitting .230, but I would bet that sitting on the bench every other day can't help his swing. He had four days between starts at the beginning of the month.

The good news-- Buchholz is pitching like 2010 Buchholz. Wouldn't it be great if he ended up being the team's ace?

Odd as it sounds, he's the guy I have the most confidence in right now.

Without a doubt.

God' date=' this isn't even fun to watch anymore.[/quote']

The Thunder are playing the Heat soon. Should be entertaining. I hope the Heat get swept.

What's funny is a lot of us wanted Iglesias over Aviles from day 1, but Aviles started hot and everyone hated on us for it. Now Iggy is injured too

Well, it took him a while to get back from a big injury, but he's been very very good after he started to figure it out.

Buccholz #1, Beckett #2, Lester #3, Doubront #4, Dice-k #5.

Bullpen: Bailey, Bard, Aceves, Melancon, Atchison, Albers, Miller.

So much talent and potential for the second half. I sure hope they stop underachieving.

Iglesias should have been the opening day SS no matter what. It's what BV wanted.

Bobby is just a puppet now. The FO is running this team and they are running it to the ground.

Aviles has physical skills but he does not seem to be a very smart ballplayer at least from what I have observed.

Any hitter that makes his intentions at the plate obvious becomes meat for really good pitchers. You can get away with that with s*** pitchers, not good pitchers. Aviles absolutely insists on trying to pull. It is plain as day and he becomes an easy out under the circumstances.
