Many of us said Beckett was a punk who should have been dumped over the winter. Now there are no doubters. He is worthless and brings down this enitire ball club. Fegler & Mazz hoped and predicted that he would get booed off the field tonight. It is about time.

 

I can honestly say I wasn't one of those people. I never liked his attitude but thought he was an extremely skilled player. I still think this man can play good baseball even though he isn't playing worth s*** right now. I just really hope there is an explanation for this kind of play. He has to be hiding an injury. What team would pick him up after seeing this.

Unfortunately that is the sound of the other shoe dropping on this mess of a team. Those are not "chips". They seem only capable of "slivering" away at the lead. Probably won't have enough time to sliver away.

I distinctly recall thinking before the season started that there was no way my life could possibly get worse. Right now I have three or four things in my life that I actually wake up for. Cigarettes, baseball, Star Trek, and one other thing I won't detail due to it being illegal. Between money issues and the Sox being terrible it's down to one. I wish I could sit down to listen to a game and feel like there is even the slightest chance they will win.
