Those pitches were just off the K zone according to what I saw, most of them anyway. All you can ask for is consistency. If he calls it that way against Blackburn then its fair, at least. The pitchers will need to adapt.

People not getting over the f***ing beer and chicken story is ruining this season. It was f***ing last year, the lost. Get over it. If you don't like the players cheer for a different team. Beckett goes out there and pitches his ass off every game. Sometimes it doesn't go his way, most of the time he is really good. The guy had a 2.87 ERA last year, could have won 18 games if the bullpen didn't s*** away a ton of wins.

It shouldn't be the way it works... umps should call consistent zones or go back to the calling little league games. It's ******** that they get away with controlling games as if they're the ones the fans come to the park to see everyday.
