I have a feeling this is going to be one of those classic low scoring, quick getaway games. I say the Red Sox win 3-1 today behind more solid s*** from Lester. I think Youk is going to hit a 2-run bomb to break the game open.

Game 1 of both series: Can't hit until 9th inning, make 9th inning comeback vs closer.

Game 2 of both series: Can't hit well at all, get beat up pretty bad.

Game 3? Sox offense comes out and blasts their way to a win today. Lester will be lights out.

The only trend that I have noticed is that we suck on the road. Our starting pitching has a 7+ ERA. As a group, they are in Lackey-land. Let's hope Fenway gets them going.

Yeah our pitching has been awful. How awful??

 

The Team ERA of 6.95 is dead last in the MLB. And the closest team to them (#29 Milwaukee) is 1.55 points better, at a 5.40 ERA.

Yeah...Shoppach needs to crowd the plate and hopefully get on base hit by pitches again.

 

I would really like to see Jacoby get a 3 or 4 hit game today with a stolen base. Guy looks sick or something...can see it in his face that he is not in his zone or even close to it for that matter at this point yet
