People know what to expect from a player's social media outlets. Other than the occasional blip on the radar, players talking to the public always say the same things. "Good game, everyone did really well, we all gave our best", "I love this team and this city", et cetera et cetera. It's why I never watch onfield interviews after games, it's always cue-card-sounding nonsense with stuff like '110%' and 'I saw the ball really well' and so on.

 

On the other hand, people feel that if they follow the feeds of people like Henry, or Theo, or Mark Cuban or whatever, they might learn something new and important about the real inner workings of their favorite teams. It's why people follow Donald Trump's movements and interviews but not his subordinates. Everyone thinks what the boss is saying is more important than anything else. They just fail to realize execs are just as mealy-mouthed as players. :lol:

Doubront has been very impressive for a first start. Look at Darvish...blew up in Texas today

Yes I would take Iggy's everyday SS play over Aviles bat cause he is never going to hit enough to make up for the plus defense Iggy brings.

 

Pitchers are going to start pistol whipping some of these guys for their defense.

Alright. Score some damn runs for this guy. He's thrown extremely well, even if it hasn't been very efficient yet. Holding the Jays to 2 ER over 5 IP is a very solid start. Now get him some runs.
