Meet your new closer....Vincente Padilla as soon as he is ready to pitch again. Probably might be Morales if they did not need a guy pitching from the left.

This team simply has no bullpen. We all know it. Its just going to be a very very long season. This team SUCKS.

And who were those people who said they liked our bull pen.

Like I said, I don't trust Melancon in that situation. He stinks. In fact, we have NO ONE in the pen who is any good at all.

Our fabulous pitching staff has now surrendered 26 runs in the first three games. No lead will be safe all year long. This is not an unanticipated problem. They f***ing knew it, and they did nothing to fix it. The fans deserve better than this joke of a team.

Fail.

Why did we let Scutaro go? Too make room for a pitcher? Nice

How much money can the Sox even spend right now or who do they even have to trade?

Esptein f***ed them good this year. And ran off like a thief in the night.

Long summer....hope the Bs make a nice run to carry this to June.

Salty sucks....they have no SS....they have no bullpen....they were too cheap to pay Papelbon.......all for luxury tax? Go f*** yourself

Bullpen is an absolute joke.

Bard shouldn't get a single start. He is this teams closer. Doesn't matter how good of a start you get from your 5th man when you can't hold a 3 run lead or a 2 run lead in a single game.

We had two relievers in this game mowing people down, but there seems to be some sort of psychosis among MLB managers driving them to tinker with something that is working. As soon as we get a lead, let's remove the pitcher who is doing well and put someone else in.

I mean, correct me if I'm wrong (which I may well be) but it often seems like pitchers either have it or they don't. Sure, sometimes you get a really good pitcher gutting his way through a day when he didn't have his good stuff. But Padilla and Morales clearly both had it today. Padilla is stretched out for starting and Morales had thrown... well, I guess 29 pitches probably was enough, given the conventional wisdom on relief outings.

Frustrating.

This bullpen is so bad it managed to do something that is very difficult to do. Have two blown saves in the same game! Three blown saves in three games. Outf***ingstanding!

"Closers are overrated" "Closers are just relievers" "Papelbon didn't deserve that contract".

Yeah, Sure.

I suspect your closer is going to be Padilla or maybe Morales.

Heck Eck thinks it should still be Aceves but I have seen enough. Aceves in my view simply is so far from having it between the ears to close that he does not even know what is happening to him and I am not convinced that he can figure it out.

From the owner(s) to the GM, to the manager and right thru the dugout...this is simply the least likable Red Sox team in quite sometime. Its actually quite comical how dysfunctional this team is.

That said, the Tigers look AWESOME...imagine if they had Victor as their DH?

Only way I can keep my sanity is by saying over and over again that Detroit is a good team. If we get swept by Toronto.... Well.... Ya
