When evaluating players, you have to look at all five statistics. Stubbs is good in two categories, and average to poor in the other three. The reason why McCutchen is valuable is because he's good--but not great-- in five categories.

 

That being said, I accepted a trade for Matt Holliday. He's the guy I wanted all along with my 3rd round pick.
