And I curse the thread with the Flynnatic10 mojo! :(

I've had enough of your mojo around here! Last time you started a game thread with Lackey pitching it ended in you saying, and I quote:

"I AM NEVER MAKING A GAME THREAD WHEN LACKEY IS PITCHING, I DON'T CARE IF I GOT A STREAK. STUPID PIECE OF s***."

Just trying to save you from making a life decision that you'll regret :D

Julian Taverez mojo?

Fun fact-- in 2007, the last year Taverez played a significant role on a MLB team, the Red Sox won the world series with him on their roster.

He was also the losing pitcher in Game 1 of the 2004 World Series. There's all kinds of mojo out there for you guys to find if you're just willing to look.

John Lackey can move into a tie for the team lead in wins. And people still consider that stat useful for anything' date=' ever![/quote']

He pitches well tonight and his ERA dips into the 5's. I think that's the real story. Sure it ain't pretty but considering that it was sitting in the low 8 range not too long ago, that's pretty damn impressive.

Heading up to SF with my family and going across the Golden Gate to Sausalito. If I don't get back in time for the game, enjoy the game guys!

To be fair' date=' it's kind of hard for your ERA to go South when you have one over 8. [b']But as Vice-President of the JLDNSC I can't carry on this conversation because it's in my contract [/b]:D

Damn straight you can't, 'less you want your nuts glazed in bronze and hanging from my wall. :D

Nope' date=' I'm saving those to sacrifice them to the baseball gods in return of a WS [/quote']

This team would be in very dire straits if sacrificing your testicles was our only means to a World Series victory.
