I love that we got Aceves after the Yankees dumped him. That was highway robbery by the Red Sox for a really, really, really good depth reliever.

And three of those hits, and by extension the runs that scored from them, were infield singles all to the shortstop. All in all, I am happy with his debut, mainly because outside of one bad inning, he showed promise.

I liked his poise. There are definitely kids who Tito would have had to get in the second. Weiland gave us 2 more innings and kept the workload on the relievers down, made the game more winnable.
