Props to MASN for no longer having Jim Palmer and that other homer in the booth! It is no longer excruciating to listen to their broadcasts. Miss Rem Dawg and Orsillo though.

PEDEY!!!!!!

Are they gone for good? Not excited to have to go back to listening to them in September for 7 games.

These pitchers are well matched.

Sure there were. Maybe SCUTARO wasn't going to turn either of those other 2 throws, but don't tell me that ACTUAL SHORTSTOPS can't.

Dude's a utility man. And it's because of the arm. And that shoulder is now hurt on top of it. The man has no ability to make critical throws.

Navarro to short. Please.

Yes, the one ball was hit far to slow for a play to be made. The other play wouldn't have been made by anyone.

God!, now Youk will tie the damn game.

EDIT: Checked.

I don't know if they're on vacation or what but haven't been around this entire series.

Keeping my fingers crossed!

... by a guy with Scutaro's Damonesque arm. Someone with an actual arm has another half second to make that play and makes it close.

The other play wouldn't have been made by anyone.

If it's the one I'm thinking of, shoulda gone to first.

And I see Scutaro got some atonement for himself while I was up and ranting after some of his fielding fails.

1. Almost no one would have had the arm to make that throw to first, much less Navarro.

2. Throwing to first on the other play wouldn't have made a difference.

Yeah, I wondered if you knew about his HR.

I wonder how many runs Weiland has to work with now another 4?

1, after that it should be Aceves time. It gives the kid a chance to work through it and give him something positive for the outing.

Again ignoire it

also being negative works

I personally think someone shouldn't think so negative about their favorite team. Now you're free to do it because last time I adressed this issue all hell went lose. For someone with the word faithful in their name I'd expect them to be less pessimistic catch my drift? Like I said VA is a cool member and she's liked around here. It takes a lot to get her mad at you or dislike you. Just tone it down a bit. We could win 7 in a row today, still be in first place, and all these without injuries. If anybody needs to complain it's O's fans

Wow I leave for a bit and it was 6-2. What happened with Weiland? Glad it's tied though' date=' hopefully weiland can settle down. He looked good in the beginning.[/quote']

Weiland is better than his numbers. There were some fielding letdowns and some things just plain falling in more often than normal in that second inning. I think anyone paying attention would recognize that he's doing alright.

I see why he is negative though. I do it all the time. It's a reverse psychology thing. Besides, if you look at the team negatively you're bound to be more pleased than disappointed in the end. And I can see why he got pissed off too. No need for people to be jumping on him at all. Not necessary. I really don't get why when people are frustrated and mad about the team or say anything negative they have to get jumped all over about it. People react differently to the game, deal with it.

The problem is that he hasn't been able to locate is FB. His cutter has been ok.

I'd say it differently. I'd say he hasn't been able to locate it consistently. He's definitely had good moments out there but the Orioles are definitely getting him occasionally. Par for the course in a young pitcher.

Nice induced GIDP. Looks like Weiland bounced back really well.
