My favorite part about this game is imagining a Blue Jays fan before the game saying' date=' "Well, it can't be worse than yesterday."[/quote']

Rays have to go from BAL tonight to DET, play a make up game @DET, then head to TB after that and play the Sox on Tuesday.

All the while, the Red Sox will be resting up.

For one , he dosent play everyday . Its hard to get into a grove when you're always when there's a lefty on the mound

Its also funny how you say he's lost when he began the day with a higher OPS than Crawford

Afre you serious with this? Can't you see how bad Drew looks? The yankee announcers even commented on how he is not even taken full swings-- that he seems to be flipping the bat at the ball.

Right you have a point but if we're killing the Blue Jays and a lot of other things are going right(Lester's command is back ' date=' offense, etc.) then why does it matter? I could understand if it was a close game or we were losing but that's not the case. If people expect everyone to hit like A-God they're crazy.[/quote']

He has to produce, no matter the score, no matter somebody else's pace, no matter against who we're playing.... he's making 14 MUSD/year and his numbers are so poor in almost all departments so far this year, he is killing this team..

He has a tremendous career, but he's done now!

I reserve the right to complain about JD no matter what the score is.

Exactly. Show me a man that is satisfied, and I'll show you a failure. We have a big hole in RF, and there are some solid options out there for RF.

A team is never as bad as it looks when it is going bad. The play in April was so far below this teams abilities. Similarly, a team is not as good as it looks when they are hot. I'll enjoy this as long as it lasts, but in 1978 we were steamrolling teams just like this too. The FO still has to keep building the pen, the bench and the bottom of the rotation.

In that regard, Jose Reyes is red hot. He would be an excellent fit.

Sorry JD Drew hasn't been consistent his whole career. It happens.

No one is stopping you. I just find it sad how so many things are going right and people find the bad things to talk about. People like to bitch for the sake of bitching. You always come in and bash Scutaro and Drew. Then you have people like BostonSouth that comes in and rips on everyone that didn't put up a 4 hit game. I miss the old posters sometimes. Thank god we're winning when we lose talksox becomes a dump.

So what if he has a higher OPS? Only reason that is happening is because Drew has walked more. Crawford has more hits, more Extra base hits, more runs scored, and more RBI's. Sure the OPS of Drew is a bit higher but that doesn't mean s*** when you aren't scoring runs or driving them in or doing anything. Even with Crawford's bad start he's been more valuable to the team and contributed more.

And the "he doesn't play everyday" excuse is lame. Playing 6 out of 7 days a week shouldn't keep a major leaguer from getting into a groove. The dude is just plain bad. His career could be done.

He plays more regularly now than he has played during the rest of his career.

It's funny, we have a couple of decent prospects in our farms, and we incredibly don't use them, i would like to ask Francona, why?

With you' date=' it's difficult to tell.[/quote']

Have forgotten moe than you'll ever.....

It won't be addressed until the trade deadline which is over 6 weeks from now. We all know Drew looks really bad. Why constantly bitch about it? That's all I'm saying.

Why can't people discuss their concerns with something? Why do you always have to complain about people complaining? If you don't like what people are discussing you could just discuss something else with others or move on.

Hey, Fan for Life....4 K's is a far cry from 4 hits...and even you have to admit from behind the rose-colored glasses, that J.D. Drew has, right now, one of the worst-looking swings in the majors...(or maybe the minors..)

Just like people have to right to bitch she has the right to complain about those who bitch.

I really don't care. I didn't hear you people say s*** when Drew has his good games. If you guys are going to bitch be consistent at it for f*** sake.

I don't look at it as complaining. It's more like critiquing. I am pretty sure that Drew is critiquing his own performance. He looks pretty disgusted.

c'mon, people, criticism isn't necessarily a bad thing...yes, it does sometimes get in the way of the ongoing group hugs, but, really, it is probably more honest than all the stroking that goes on around here....

How's it goin' BOY?

I am going to complain about people who complain and also about people who complain about people complaining. Perhaps our collective whining can be harvested as a renewable, ecologically safe power source and solve the world's energy crisis.

Or, alternatively, everyone can stop being annoying.

How did you manage to get 111 posts without annoying yourself into another ban.

+1 again.

I can't believe that at this point we possibly dare to compare CC with JD Drew, is not even a fair exercise...

JD and Cameron should come every time from the bench every single game these days, and give the opportunity to our farms if we don't sign somebody else.
