Alright!! I am pumped up for this game!! Lester, on 7 days rest, pitching in the Bronx? He's pinpointed the problem he had, which was over reliance on his cutter. That'll change tonight.

Garcia going up against an outrageous line up vs RHP. This is going to get dirty.

Scutaro?... what happened with Lowrie, i'm not sure if Scutaro should be in the initial lineup against the NYY after all these days he spent in the DL. He should come back from the bench each next game if he's required and see his performance, i don't see the point in rush him just like that. IMO

Scutaro shines during rehab

Marco Scutaro was 3 for 4 with a double and a run scored for Class AAA Pawtucket in today's 11-3 victory at Durham.

Scutaro was 5 for 11 in three games for the PawSox and is expected to rejoin the Red Sox tomorrow in New York. RHP Scott Atchison will be sent back to Pawtucket at that point.

The Sox had gone with an extra pitcher on Sunday when they sent Josh Reddick down.

Darnell McDonald is destroying the International League in his rehab. He was 2 for 4 with two doubles and two RBIs today. He is 8 for 19 with six runs scored, five extra-base hits and 11 RBIs in six games. That's a .421/.522/.895 line.

well, hope he keeps that pace.

Glad to hear about Atchison back to the Pawtucket (He sucks, keep him there) and McDonald's performance.

NEW YORK — This release from Major League Baseball:

Boston Red Sox reliever Jonathan Papelbon has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount for his inappropriate actions, which included making contact with home plate umpire Tony Randazzo, during the top of the ninth inning of his Club’s Saturday, June 4th game against the Oakland Athletics at Fenway Park.

Joe Garagiola Jr., Senior Vice President of Standards and On-Field Operations for Major League Baseball, made the announcement.

Papelbon’s suspension was scheduled to begin being served during Boston’s game tonight against the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium, but he has elected to appeal. Thus, his suspension will be held in abeyance until the process is complete.

f*** MLB umpires. Seriously, f*** them and their union. Joe West should be serving burgers in McDonalds, and the umpire for that Oakland game should be suspended.

Do you know what happens when everyone else in America sucks at their job? They get fired. Umpires f***ing suck, just do your goddamn job and let the attention fall towards the players.

f***ing Ellsbury! I'm wearing his player T shirt tomorrow at school. Even though it's the old one I don't even care. Whoo!

I liked him better as number 46.
