I'll bet a case of El Presidente (the standard bet on TalkSox) that he has more HRs than Salty does on September 1st.

 

I'm not saying he won't be better this year, just think the Sox were going for a long term solution. I also don't see Salty being the answer either as I'm not sold on him reaching his potential.

Bigger problems? Name one. He gets onbase at .000, he allowed 3 steals this inning, and he has a negative impact on the pitching staff. You could argue Dice-k/Lackey are equal problems, but not bigger problems.
