Don't worry I made it to the bathroom. I took out a lot of the bathroom though. And none of my friends caught on, I just magically disappeared and came back a little thinner.

Anyway now I have the draft picks collected so I'll get to updating the chart. I'll update the bottom part first since it's quicker and people can use it to see who is available.

Hah, just walk out very nonchalantly...

The chart should be completely updated now. As usual, let me know if any changes to the chart need to be made, whether I entered a pick incorrectly or if you'd like a specific player at a different position. On that note, keep in mind that the OF spots all say "OF" so having one in a particular order does not mean that he's the RF/CF/LF.

In addition, Will, you should send your ideal picks to someone in the event that you're heading out before Divinity makes his pick.

... and sit down and calmly say: I'm still hungry. Anyone want some more wings?:lol:

For the record, when I came back I did finish my plate. They were really good wings. I got honey mustard with a habanero sauce.

Nah, I'll be around. I'll probably eat lunch at some point, but I think that 30-45 minutes shouldn't be that big of a deal, unless you still want me to send my picks to someone.

I'd be madder about him being swiped if it wasn't made apparent that Heyward wouldn't have made it back to me either.
I had Heyward in my sights. After Latos, I would have snatched him up before he got to you.

I might have napped Latos if Hanson wasn't available. I was afraid that Latos wouldn't be as consistent, so with the money being about equal, I grabbed Hanson. I would have picked Heyward with an early pick if this was one of those 3-5 years in the future drafts.

Not in my experiences...
You have to chunder early in the evening while you are still out for it to help. If it happens after the evening is over, it's too late to help.

Sounds like a waste of an evening, to chunder so early.

I had been drinking since 2pm and I didn't chunder until close to 9pm. I wouldn't consider that early. I do have a bit of a hangover though, but some sleep and hopefully some damn draft picks being made (hint hint) should help. ;)

Seems like waiting on Divinity is a common theme, although at least we've only had 1 skip thus far. We've had a lot of skips in the NFL redraft, with almost everyone being skipped at least once. This redraft is FLYING compared to the other 3 I've been a part of.

I would say that the timing of the draft played a pretty big role in that. Not much going on at work around the holidays, and students have Christma...er...."Winter Break".

Not sure. I didn't know when he started his vacation.

Either way. December 23 through January 4 are the slowest days ever for baseball, so this is a solid way to make it something interesting.

We need to make this the annual mlb draft. Most free agents are signed, most trades are made, arbitration has already been offered, and literally, the days drag if you're trying to break some MLB news.

By the way - can you imagine if Mauer hadn't of signed that big contract extension last year?

Another bidding war between the Yankees and Red Sox, because both teams are horrible at catcher. 7/142 wouldn't have gotten close. He may have been another $25mm player. I think the Sox would have splurged for him and stayed out of the Crawford race.

Ellsbury

Pedroia

Mauer

Gonzo

Youk

Ortiz

Cameron

Drew

Scutaro

Not a bad line up indeed.

Will' date=' if Divinity hasn't made his pick by 7:13pm, then you can make both of your picks.[/quote']

Also. If Divinity has made his pick prior to 7:13pm, you can still make both of your picks.

Yeah, there should be a rule where the 1st, 2nd, 15th, and 16th only get 4 hours for their 2nd pick if they miss their first. That way, if you weren't around or Will wasn't around, it seems ridiculous to wait 16 hours.

Its just bad timing really, I'm usually available 12 hours of the day. I was up untill 5am before I went to sleep. If you want to reduce the clock down to 6 hours I'm all for it, I never take that long to make my pick. But anyways I'll take OF/3B Jose Bautista - 2.4mil

In all fairness, you're probably posting picks faster than you did in the NFL or NBA redraft. That's not saying anything bad about your pick schedule then because you generally made your picks in good time, it's just that the pace of this redraft has gone by much faster, so that even if your pace stayed the same as before, it'd look much worse now. Anyway Will is up with 2 picks and you're up thereafter Divinity.
